27.60 - 34.50 USD Hourly
All Other Locations:
24.00 - 30.00 USD Hourly

Responsibilities And Duties
- Establish and maintain a test system for validating SMB routers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, ask questions, review feedback, and improve processes.
- Develop test plans and scenarios based on system and functional requirements to evaluate product performance.
- Conduct manual testing and track failures with tickets.
- Assist with automation and regression testing of nightly builds to support continuous integration.
- Review end-user documentation.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and address issues and risks.
- Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related field. Preference will be given to Juniors or Seniors with previous internship or work experience.
- Basic understanding of Computer Networking (Ethernet, TCP/IP, OSI model, L2 Switching, L3 Routing).
- Good grasp of Network Security (NAT, IPSEC, Intrusion Prevention/Detection, Stateful Firewall, Connection Tracking).
- Knowledge of WiFi protocols and debugging.
- Experience in Networking labs (connectivity verification, troubleshooting).
- Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Prompt Engineering and AI tools like Microsoft Copilot.
- Ability to automate tasks and debug scripts in Python/Bash.
- Basic knowledge of version control tools like GIT.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently, think analytically, and solve problems.
- Organizational skills for managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Able to work for the complete summer break (May - August or June - September).
