In this pivotal role, you will oversee a talented team of engineers focused on developing high-quality software products that meet the demands of our users. You will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the engineering team, while also working closely with cross-functional partners to align technical solutions with business objectives. Responsibilities
- As an integral part of our worldwide engineering team you will lead by example and be a hands on developer.
- Research, evaluate, and integrate latest technologies in the AI, Crypto, and Productivity/Entertainment space.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers in developing software products that align with the company's strategic goals.
- Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define project requirements and scope.
- Implement best practices in software development to enhance code quality and team efficiency.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring on-time and on-budget completions.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify and address technical challenges and bottlenecks, facilitating effective problem-solving.
- This is an equity position, and as part owner of the company you will help drive our growth, and take ownership of the products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in software development and engineering management roles, particularly in a startup environment.
- Strong foundation of Computer Science fundamentals and the software product lifecycle.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Go, and Rust.
- Demonstrable skills in both Backend and Frontend development at large scale, such as React, Tailwind, Node, Redis, MongoDB, and Docker
- Strong proficiency in AWS cloud infrastructure at scale, with Demonstrable skills in cost management.
- Strong proficiency in AI LLM Inference, Stable Diffusion, and AI Model fine-tuning.
- Proven experience and proficiency in managing and maintaining large scale GPU infrastructure.
- Proven experience in shipping products.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and project management tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to drive technical discussions and influence decisions at all levels of the organization.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for overcoming challenges in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience in EVM and Solana blockchain a plus
- Experience with image recognition and object detection systems a plus
