RESTAURANT FLOOR SUPERVISOR

Job Summary
The Floor Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant environment. This position involves overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in restaurant management and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations.
• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations to foster a productive team environment.
• Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with budgeting to optimize operational costs.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with management to implement new procedures and enhance overall restaurant performance.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in team management within a restaurant environment.
• Strong knowledge of food management practices, including safety standards and kitchen operations.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a diverse team.
• Background in hospitality management is preferred, with an understanding of budgeting processes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
