Role and Responsibilities
The CDL Driver is responsible for the delivery and distribution of parts and supplies for Callan Marine to jobsites and other locations.
This position will be under the direct supervision of the Senior Buyer.
- Deliver materials to Dredges / Projects on an as needed basis, sometimes including weekends or other non-standard workdays or hours.
- Picking up purchased products.
- Delivery and retrieval of parts sent out for repair.
- Inspects delivery vehicles and ensures the safety and security of the loading and unloading process.
- Ensuring that vehicles have enough gas and are always ready for use.
- Carrying out vehicle maintenance checks.
- Arranging for vehicle repairs when necessary.
- Forklift operation.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Participates in Safety and Environmental initiatives that will contribute to compliance of State / Federal regulations and improve existing Company programs.

The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable workplace accommodation.
