Job Title: Service Specialist
Report to: Financial Advisor
Job Type: Part-Time (approx. 20 hours weekly)
Job Location: 5000 Urbana Rd Suite 100, Springfield, OH 45502
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Part-Time Service Specialist to support our customer base in our Financial Planning and Insurance Office. This position is perfect for an experienced person who would like flexible work hours to fit their schedule and offer work/life balance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer and problem-solve incoming telephone, voice mail, e-mail and in-person requests professionally and courteously
- Process customer policy change requests
- Take premium payments from clients
- Provide ongoing support to clients, exceeding their expectations
- Process client renewals, claim submission, and follow up
- General service assistance with Medicare if needed
- General service assistance with Financial Planning if needed
- Maintain client and other appropriate information in company software including but not limited to accurate and timely processing of updates and report requests
- Type and design general written and electronic correspondence
Non-Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be available at the direction of the Financial Advisor for other duties and responsibilities including various projects
Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
