Job Overview
At Callaway Resort and Gardens, the position of Admissions Manager is responsible for our Information Center, Admissions/Gates operation and Events Will Call locations. Manager will lead Supervisor and Hosts to perform a variety of duties related to the Information Center, including opening/closing of facility daily, maintaining schedules for Hosts, assisting guests with information, planning guest visits, providing guidance and training for Hosts, and fulfilling billing by ensuring all is processed in an appropriate fashion. The manager will provide regular support to all Hosts and is responsible for all aspects of our Admissions system. Role is also responsible for all hiring of Hosts, and the creation and monitoring of the budget for operation.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide support to leadership through revenue/attendance reports and other necessary information.
- Provide support to the Information Center Supervisor, Desk Hosts, & Gates to include telephone assistance, large groups support, scheduling, school groups, collateral, information, etc.
- Work with all levels of membership/pass program.
- Process, receive, and verify all supply orders to include but not limited to member/pass cards, various supplies, maps, etc.
- Maintain all revenue files related to tickets sold.
- Maintain current ticketing software and report daily on numbers/revenue.
- Maintain budget for Admissions area.
- Assist with scheduling the Admissions and Information Center hosts.
- Maintain Information Desk, Information Supervisor, and Admission Hosts in payroll system.
Qualifications

- Flexibility with schedule (Weekends and holidays)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a solid working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Education & Experience:
- College Degree Preferred
- Cash handling experience
- Computer experience
