The Central Cashier is an important position at Callaway. Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and verifying cash drops and making daily bank deposits.
- Complying with cash handing policies
- Adhering to cash handling and security policies and procedures.
- Issuing and receiving banks (tills) and other items equivalent to currency according to procedures.
- Performing cash pickups and cashier audits.
- Assisting new cashiers with Cash Control procedures.
- Keeping personal teller inventory in balance at all times.
- Reconciling personal teller inventory and verifying bank deposits.
- Keeping work areas clean and safe at all times.
- Maintaining records and issue reports using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Maintaining strict confidentiality regarding company results, employee information, and security procedures.
- Working outside of "regular" hours to assist with cash/change distribution during special events
- Other duties as assigned.
This is primarily a day job with hours from 830am-500pm with variation during special events.
Selected candidate will undergo both a criminal background check and a credit report check. Confirmation in position is contingent upon favorable results of both.
