The F&B Systems Specialist is responsible for effectively executing financial strategies of the Food & Beverage operations for Callaway Resort & Gardens as well as meeting property, department, and company objectives and goals. These responsibilities will be performed in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, operating philosophies and standards of the Callaway Resort & Gardens.
II. Summary of Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Partner with Operations Managers to assist in the forecasting of expenses for budgeting purposes, as well as forecasting inventory on hands.
- Special projects as requested by the Executive Chef, Director of Food & Beverage or the Resort General Manager.
- Leverage technology - Ensure new systems and technology are managed with enterprise governance
o Act as conduit between Property Leadership, Culinary Team and PSC Systems Team, participating in project and System User Meetings and sharing information both ways.
o Ensure Crunch Time launch and next steps are completed in the best way for CGR, identifying training needs, documenting recipes, auditing maintenance tasks moving forward
o Heavily involved in Simphony POS project, collecting information from the CGR Team, learning configuration and maintenance to become a Simphony SME who is able to train others and maintain the new POS after September Go Live.
o Super user for Crunch time Inventory & Simphony Point of Sale, carry out processes and procedures to ensure enterprise governance. Become a SME on all F&B Technology Systems and Processes.
o Facilitate training across Culinary Division Front of House and Back of House
o Execute planned schedule of reporting; ensure right information is getting to right people to effect change.
o Educate and train team on understanding reports and reports business purpose.
o Audit recipe modeling and advise culinary team on areas of opportunity
