Responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces.
- Support the cooking team during busy service periods by bussing tables and ensuring timely delivery of food to guests.
- Participate in banquet setups and breakdowns, ensuring all food items are presented beautifully.
- Follow all food handling and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive dining experience for guests through excellent customer service.
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required; we welcome those eager to learn.
- Familiarity with culinary techniques and food handling practices is a plus.
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- A passion for cooking and providing excellent customer service is essential.
- Experience in banquet settings or hotel kitchens is advantageous but not mandatory.
