Job Overview
This role will be responsible for assisting in various projects and activities in regards to Environmental Health and Industrial Safety and Facilities engineering. The primary project will be conducting safety reviews and inventory on facility equipment including age, usage, purpose and location.

Job Overview
This role will be responsible for assisting in various projects and activities in regards to Environmental Health and Industrial Safety and Facilities engineering. The primary project will be conducting safety reviews and inventory on facility equipment including age, usage, purpose and location.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Document pertinent information on equipment
- Review documentation with Engineering team
- Complete surveys including identification and documentation regarding service water and wastewater
- Review and update Emergency Response Plans and Procedures
- Review and update safety and environmental employee awareness training plans
- Ability to solve problems independently
- Ability to make decisions independently
- Ability to read and write through various means of communication
- Understanding of mechanical concepts related to manufacturing
- Computer skills with the ability to manage different types of electronic data files.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate engineering program at an accredited college or university.
- Standing as a sophomore or greater with a 3.0 GPA or greater
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Good communicator with the ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred major in Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related fields of study
- Frequent standing and walking for long periods of time
- Infrequent stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling
- Infrequent reaching into and working in confined spaces
- The employee may be frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles
- Will be exposed to electrical currents and potential electric shock
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
- Use of office equipment to include computer, calculator, copier, fax, and other business related machines and software.
