About the Role:
Our Patient Care Associates play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience. PCAs are the heart of our patient experience. They manage a high volume of calls, provide accurate information, and assist patients with their healthcare needs.
Key Responsibilities:
As a PCA - Call Center, your responsibilities will include:
- Answering Phone Calls: Handle incoming calls from patients, providers, and other stakeholders, providing information and assistance as needed.
- Scheduling Appointments: Schedule and reschedule patient appointments, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling.
- Patient Registration: Register new and returning patients, collecting and verifying demographic and insurance information.
- Message Taking: Take accurate messages and route them to appropriate staff members.
- Data Entry: Input patient information into the electronic health record (EHR) system.
- Problem-Solving: Troubleshoot patient issues and concerns, escalating issues as needed.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and other stakeholders.
- Compliance: Adhere to HIPAA regulations and other relevant compliance standards.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time and hybrid position with evening hours.

Qualifications
Education, Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in a medical service environment, specifically with front desk activities preferred
- Knowledge of Federal & NY State patient privacy regulations/laws a plus
