About the Role:
Callen-Lorde is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Integrated Services Supervisor, Specialty Services to provide direct clinical interventions and support the management of high-quality behavioral health services at our Office of Mental Health (OMH)-licensed clinics. This role involves supervising and coaching on-site and remote therapy and psychiatry providers while acting as a liaison between behavioral health managers and providers. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and clinical expertise in behavioral health services.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Behavioral Health Integrated Services Supervisor - Specialty Services , your responsibilities will include:
- Clinical Supervision & Support: Provide supervision, coaching, and support to OMH therapy and psychiatry providers, ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Workflow & Process Improvement: Assess and refine workflows at OMH-licensed sites to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
- Referral & Patient Management: Oversee behavioral health assessments and referrals, track patient engagement in care, and manage provider assignments based on patient needs.
- Service Coordination: Manage waitlists, facilitate urgent scheduling, and handle requests for therapy reassignments.
- Admissions & Discharges: Facilitate structured patient admissions, transfers, and discharges by reviewing documentation and coordinating appropriate referrals.
- Performance & Compliance Oversight: Ensure provider performance benchmarks are met, including visit volumes, documentation accuracy, and adherence to OMH, DOH, HRSA, and CMS regulations.
- Personnel Management: Participate in hiring, onboarding, and staff performance management, including evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions as needed.
- Leadership & Collaboration: Represent behavioral health in interdepartmental meetings and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with evening hours.

Qualifications
Education, Experience

Master’s Degree in Social Work and NYS licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

A minimum of three (3) years postgraduate experience in a health/behavioral health, and/or social services setting preferred. Experience working in an Article 31 strongly preferred.

Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Knowledge of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and HIV health/ behavioral health issues and concerns.

Demonstrated ability to work with multiple evidence-based approaches to behavioral health treatment.

Demonstrated ability to coordinate the provision of direct social services, problem solve, and optimize service delivery systems.

Salary : $96,500 - $102,000
