Job Description
The Healthcare Fraud Investigator will serve as an investigator for the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO) to conduct investigations related to civil actions or administrative violations. Cases are handled independently or as a team member. The incumbent will plan and conduct investigations of civil or administrative matters specializing in Health Care Fraud.
Responsibilities:
- Work with AUSAs and/or supervisory attorneys to determine applicable laws and identify violations.
- Understand federal, state, or local laws and devise methods for obtaining, preserving, and presenting evidence.
- Plan, schedule, and conduct investigations, identifying necessary resources.
- Refer evidence of criminal activities to criminal investigators or law enforcement officers.
- Perform ancillary investigation-related services in support of litigation.
Qualifications:
- Experience in healthcare fraud investigations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong understanding of applicable legal frameworks.

Basic Qualifications for HCF Investigator:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
- At least five years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Resume demonstrating experience and expertise in the required tasks.
- Valid Arkansas driver’s license and a dependable vehicle.
- U.S. Citizenship.
