Case Manager

The Calloway County Attorney’s Office is looking for an enthusiastic, go-getter to learn the basic casework activities in the Child Support Enforcement Centralized Intake Section. Candidates should be able to learn the program, have good communication skills and provide assistance to customers and other agencies regarding the distribution of Child Support services. Candidates should be professional, polite, courteous and willing to meet challenges/deadlines. Must be comfortable with computers, working directly with public and have a desire to help others. Full time, 37.5 hrs per week.

Responsibilities and Duties include but are not limited to:

• Reviewing case data
• Assisting with case initiation
• Determining need for paternity and/or order establishment
• Learning to provide casework assistance to contracting official staff
• Learning to interpret policy and procedures for customers and other agencies.

EDUCATION: Must have completed two years (54 semester hours) from a college or university.

Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: Administrative work, clerical office work, work dealing directly with the public , or experience in reviewing, monitoring, determining eligibility for, and/or administering Food Stamps, the Kentucky Transitional Assistance Program, Medical Assistance, Child Support, or other public assistance programs will substitute for the required college on a year-for-year basis.
