Who are we hiring (and what will they do)?
We are looking for a talented, local UI/UX Designer to join our team and create visually appealing and user-centric digital experiences for our product. The ideal candidate is passionate about design, user behavior, and technology, with a proven track record of crafting engaging interfaces and improving usability. You must be able to commute into the Millersville, MD office three days a week.
As a successful UI/UX Designer, you will:
- Analyze user feedback and behavior to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize user flows and interfaces
- Design intuitive and visually compelling UI elements consistent with brand guidelines
- Design customer journey maps across functions from concept to production
- Optimize designs for various devices and screen sizes to ensure responsiveness and accessibility.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other teams to ensure designs align with business goals and technical constraints, while focusing on the customer experience
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance the user experience
- Test designs for usability and functionality, iterating based on user feedback.
- Identify and troubleshoot UX issues during the development phase.
- Maintain and improve the design system to ensure consistency across products.
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to apply best practices.
What skills will help you be effective on our team?
- Degree in technology, graphic design, or related fields preferred
- 3 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably working on a B2B Saas product (you should come equipped with a portfolio that showcases relevant design work to include flows, wireframes, and prototypes)
- Experience with different platforms supports: Web (Desktop Mobile), Native (Mobile Tablet)
- Experience with design tools such as Figma,Wireframe Designier, Adobe XD and familiarity with AI tools
- Truly embrace and enjoy solving complex business challenges
- Can flexibly balance multiple concurrent tasks/projects/initiatives
- Ability to propel design initiatives from concept, to wireframes, to approved and finalized design specs
- Comfort with varying levels of ambiguity
- A high-level of accommodation and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment of constant change and the ability to perform well under pressure and deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- The ability to work independently, but also be a strong team player across the organization
- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate with anyone
- The salary range for this role begins at $100,000.00 per year and the final offer will be based upon the candidate. Salary presented with a job offer will be based on factors such as calibrated job level, educational background, prior work experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role.
