Pay: $56,972.00 per year
Schedule: Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm

- Design and deliver dynamic lesson plans tailored to the unique learning needs of each student.
- Create a welcoming and supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes active engagement and personal growth.
- Incorporate diverse instructional strategies and materials to make social studies content accessible, engaging, and relevant.
- Monitor student performance and communicate progress regularly with students and their families.
- Work closely with therapeutic staff to support students' academic, social, and emotional well-being.
- Take part in staff meetings, ongoing training, and school events to contribute to the broader school community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
- Valid teaching certification for middle or high school, which may include Temporary Authorization Certificate (TAC), Provisional Certificate, Career Continuous Professional Certificate (CCPC), or Initial Professional Certificate (IPC).
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must pass a state and federal background check, physical, and drug screen
- Experience working with adolescents, preferably in a therapeutic or special education setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
