At Calo Programs, we are dedicated to providing a supportive and therapeutic environment for emerging young adults. As a Life Enrichment Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Crisis Prevention and Management: You will be responsible for identifying and addressing potential crises before they escalate, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents.
• Maintaining a Safe Environment: You will work closely with our staff to create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes growth and development.
• Staff Bonding and House Bonding Activities: You will participate in activities designed to foster teamwork and camaraderie among staff members, as well as between staff and residents.
• Daily Light Housekeeping: You will assist with daily tasks such as sweeping, cleaning, and putting away belongings.
• Enforcing a Positive Environment: You will serve as a positive role model and help maintain a respectful and inclusive environment for all residents.

Qualifications

• Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required; a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred but not necessary.
• Age Requirement: You must be at least 21 years old to apply.
• Background Checks: You will be required to undergo a pre-employment drug screen and pass a thorough background investigation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
