Job Description:
As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Calo Programs, you will work with our multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, relational treatment to adolescents who have experienced significant developmental trauma. Our approach is grounded in the belief that safe, empathetic, and attuned relationships are essential for healing and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions to promote systemic change in struggling families.
- Collaborate with our Animal Assisted Therapy team to provide innovative and effective therapeutic interventions.
- Counsel students in various experiential settings such as camping, hiking, and rappelling with our Adventure Therapy department.
- Participate in weekly interdisciplinary treatment planning meetings to develop comprehensive and individualized treatment plans for students.
- Actively participate in family weekends to offer therapeutic support to families and contribute to the overall healing process.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be fully licensed in the state of Missouri (LCSW, LMFT, or LPC).
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to evidence-based practices.
- A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
- Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
- Ability to pass state and federal background checks.
