Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of construction projects by providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring effective budget management. This position requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in construction estimating software, and the ability to negotiate contracts effectively.
Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Utilize HeavyBid software to create precise estimates and manage project documentation.
- Support project management teams by providing ongoing cost analysis and adjustments as needed during the project execution phase.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of project management principles.
- Proficiency in estimating software HCSS HeavyBid is required.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated to manage individual tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.
- 5 year or more working with HCSS heavy bid
- 5 years or more working with AGTEK5 Years or more.
- Civil construction with emphasis on mass excavation, drainage and utilities
- Standard work week is 48HR.
- .Must provided verification of previous employment history.
- Engineering degree a plus
