Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated part-time Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor to join our team at our Conroe, TX location. We are interested in candidates who are looking to work for a company that is passionate about changing lives and helping build the essential workforce. This class schedule will be from Monday through Thursday from 10 AM to 2 PM. Applicants must be available during the hours of this class schedule to be considered for this position.
The Phlebotomy Technician Lead Instructor’s duties and responsibilities include:
- Advanced student learning through exemplary instruction by following an established course outline.
- Assist in student learning outcomes.
- Maintain current knowledge in the subject matter area and effective teaching/learning strategies.
- Maintain appropriate standards of professionalism and conduct.
- Facilitate all required skill labs with assistant skill instructor
- Grade class assignments and exams.
This role requires the following qualifications:
- Current Phlebotomy Technician Certification.
- Must have 3 years of related job experience
- 1-3 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Must be proficient in all aspects of blood collection including capillary, syringe, vacutainer, and butterfly methods.
- Must be comfortable with speaking to large groups, multi-taking and critical thinking.
- Efficient with computers and technology.
- Organized and detail oriented.
