Field Service Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while performing maintenance, repairs, and installations on various industrial equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, particularly in high voltage systems, HVAC, and industrial mechanics, along with the ability to analyze schematics and utilize tools such as ammeters.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing client needs and providing effective solutions.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on high voltage equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Analyze technical schematics to troubleshoot issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct regular inspections of HVAC systems and other industrial machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
• Collaborate with technical sales teams to provide insights on customer requirements and product enhancements.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and customer interactions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a field service role or similar position within an industrial environment.
• Strong understanding of high voltage systems and industrial mechanics.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with HVAC systems is highly desirable.
• Experience using ammeters and other diagnostic tools for troubleshooting.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills to assess problems and develop effective solutions.
• Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
• Ability to pass a drug test and possess a clean vehicle record.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
