Job Description
Basic Function
Do you enjoy working with high-tech equipment, fine-tuning devices to perfection, and ensuring radiation measurement systems are in tip-top shape? Great! We need you to calibrate Quality Assurance Measurement Systems, including ion chambers, sensors, and control units, using gamma and X-ray equipment. If you don't know what those are yet don't worry, we'll train you (but if you do know, we're already impressed). Just follow the written test procedures (yes, we actually have instructions no guessing required).
Skills Required (Yes, Excel is Non-Negotiable)
Manual Dexterity: You'll be using both hands to type on a keyboard and tweak knobs, dials, and other calibration test fixtures. It's like playing an instrument except instead of music, you produce scientific accuracy.
? Strength & Mobility: If lifting 30 lbs sounds like a workout, you'll get paid to do it. Plus, you need the flexibility to navigate small, confined rooms like a high-tech ninja.
Computer Skills: Must be comfortable with Windows and (most importantly) Excel. If you think "VLOOKUP" is a new gaming console, this might not be the job for you.
Technical Know-How: If you have a technical mindset and can grasp new gadgets quickly, you'll fit right in. A basic understanding of math, high school physics, and SI prefixes (from femto to mega yes, those are real words) will definitely help.
Education & Experience
High School diploma required. No fancy degrees needed! We offer on-the-job training, so come ready to learn.
If you're detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and can wield Excel like a pro, we want you on our team. Apply today our equipment needs your calibration skills (and your spreadsheets).
