Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Security Engineer to help strengthen security posture and develop solutions that protect both internal systems and customer-facing products. You'll work closely with development, infrastructure, and compliance teams to implement security controls, conduct assessments, and respond to security incidents. This role offers the opportunity to tackle complex security challenges in a dynamic threat landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement security controls across cloud environments and applications
- Conduct security assessments, penetration tests, and vulnerability scanning
- Develop and maintain security monitoring systems and incident response procedures
- Review code and architecture for security vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
- Lead threat modeling sessions with development teams
- Create security automation tools to enhance detection and response capabilities
- Stay current with emerging threats and security technologies
- Collaborate with compliance teams to ensure adherence to industry standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR)
- Participate in on-call rotation for security incidents
