Position Title : CNC Programmer (Mastercam)
Employment Type & Schedule : Direct Hire – Full Benefits – Day Shift, M-F
Compensation : $38 – 45 / hr. (D.O.E.)
ITAR Requirements : Perm. Residency / Green Card or U.S. Citizenship Required

With over fifty years of proud service to the aerospace, defense, and medical device industries, our precision machining client is under new ownership and eager to take the firm to new heights. Crucial to their mission is an experienced CNC Programmer who has broad experience with Fanuc and Mitsubishi-controlled milling equipment and proficiency in at least one CAM package. While Mastercam is preferred, proficiency in another CAD is acceptable.
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize Mastercam software to generate complete CNC programs from technical drawings or customer-supplied data files for multi-axis milling machines.
- Collaborate with Planning, Quality, and Production teams to meet shop production goals and optimize machining processes.
- Create or modify programs as necessary to meet part design requirements, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
- Generate technical “drawings” or setup documentation from programs for use in shop production and estimating.
- Load and verify CNC programs on FANUC -controlled and Mitsubishi -controlled milling centers.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints and apply geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) principles.
- Follow Digital Product Definition (DPD) and quality verification procedures.
- Program CNC machining for a variety of metals, including aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel.
- Maintain strict adherence to aerospace and defense quality standards and industry specifications.
Requirements :
10 years of combined CNC machining and programming experience in a machine shop environment.
Expertise in programming and operating FANUC and Mitsubishi controls.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Technical / A.S. Degree in Machine Tool Technology
Authorized to work in the United States (I-9 and E-Verify compliant).
