RESPONSIBILITIES
- Able to handle multiple accounts with $3M projects concurrently
- Plans, Organizes, Manages, Tracks and Controls Projects in their charge.
- Prepare a complete estimate and proposal for projects with a detailed review of plans, specifications, and other bid documents.
- Identify needs for RFI’s and change orders then administrate.
- Preparation of all change orders on assigned projects with review and approval from Director of ICT. Negotiate all change orders on the project. Ensures change orders are captured and capture all additional cost and margin.
- Monitor and track construction activities in conjunction with the onsite Supervisor to ensure project is being built within scope, within code and standards, within schedule, within budget and within quality standards. Adjust as necessary.
- Prepare monthly cost to complete reports under the supervision of the Director.
- Manage financial aspects of contracts (progress billing, rental equipment, income/expenses) to protect the company’s interest and simultaneously maintain a good relationship with the client.
- Review any documentation prepared by Project Coordinator before submission.
- Represent the company in project meetings.
- Creates and maintains overall Project Plan to include Project Schedule (if applicable), Labor Plan, Subcontractor Plan and Material Plan.
- Negotiate all Subcontracts with General Manager approval.
- Ensure all contract and project documents and details are reviewed, caught, followed, and accounted for to minimize company risk.
- Communicates proactively with the customer and coordinate any necessary items with customer.
- Tracks Production, Material, Overall Project Budget and Progress Against Schedule to ensure we stay on budget and on schedule.
- Writes professional RFI's as needed for clarification and confirmation.
- Visit job site periodically to validate that production and schedule reports from the field are accurate.
- Request Invoice to Project Coordinator as soon as job completes.
- Submit claim and notice letters as needed for delays and cost impacts.
- Order material based on material plan and project schedule for release and coordination by Project Coordinator and Supervisor.
- Oversees the Safety Program and assures that all Safety Standards are being met and maintained.
- Oversee Supervisor in coordination with customer and other trades to ensure all obstacles to our work is cleared and our job layout is not being interfered with by other trades equipment.
- Assign field staffing that will meet or exceed the project timelines and budgets in conjunction with General Manager. Coordinate with Subcontractor(s) for when to be on site.
- Coordinate with the Purchasing/Warehouse as needed for project tools and equipment.
- Provide guidance and field engineering as needed to Supervisor.
- Assists in the development of training programs for Field Staffing that ensures our Company’s excellence.
- Complete Shop Drawings.
- Develop Labeled Floor Plans at the outset of the project to provide to Supervisor and ensure that the Supervisor develops and distributes the Cable Run List.
- Develop and maintain rolling Three Week Look Ahead based on Project Schedule and Labor Plan/Budget.
- Ensure Supervisor updates labor production quantities daily through Daily Report and submits.
- Provide QC reports with pictures bi-weekly and submit to PC and General Manager (Large Projects $50k and Over).
- Ensure all inspections are passed the first time.
- Does all of this without prompting from their supervisor. They know their job and proactively work to get things done.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction industry in a Project Management role.
- Can be a combination of training, education and/or relevant work experience.
- Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in similar low voltage construction, methods and equipment, tools and work procedures required.
- BICSI RCDD is a plus.
- BICSI RTPM is a plus.
- Can be a combination of training, education and/or relevant work experience.

Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour
