ACCOUNTANT
As the Company Accountant, you will report to the General Manager and be an integral member of the management team at Caltex. Your role will have a significant impact on the successful day-to-day operations and on the continuous improvement of the company’s performance overall.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Overall compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s specific job-related knowledge, individual skills, education and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your compensation package at Caltex. You may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.

ACCOUNTANT
As the Company Accountant, you will report to the General Manager and be an integral member of the management team at Caltex. Your role will have a significant impact on the successful day-to-day operations and on the continuous improvement of the company’s performance overall.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare daily cash transactions and reconcile bank accounts
- Prepare invoices in accordance with milestone payment terms and as needed by management
- Prepare other general ledger journal entries (i.e. prepaid assets, accruals, etc.) including balance sheet reconciliations and identify and resolve variances
- Support month-end close reporting process including participating in continuous process improvement efforts
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements including P&L and Balance Sheet
- Report on Company’s liquidity and financial health
- Prepare all budgets and forecasts
- Optimization of D365 Business Central configurations
- Provide support for financial statement audit as well as other various audits
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and security
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Provide Project Cost Accounting and general financial support
- Manage and advise on monthly performance measurements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business
- 3 years of professional experience in a business services role or working as an accountant within a manufacturing environment or small accountancy firm
- Strong accounting knowledge and an understanding of US GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central/Dynamics 365 and SQL
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office, Excel and Word
- CPA qualification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization
- Positive attitude, able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong time management skills, able to manage competing priorities
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, initiative, collaborative and able to be a self-starter
