As a Child Welfare Specialist with Calumet County, WI, you will play a vital role in supporting families and children in need. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the Family Services Unit.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing client assessment and case management services to clients in the area of child welfare and Juvenile Court. You will work closely with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders to develop and implement effective case plans that promote positive outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide client assessment and case management services to clients in the area of child welfare and Juvenile Court
- Develop and implement effective case plans that promote positive outcomes for children and families
- Collaborate with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders to achieve case goals
- Conduct home studies for voluntary kinship care and step-parent adoptions
- Refers or coordinates client case plan with other agencies providing services to meet client needs
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related human services field
- At least two years of experience in child welfare or Juvenile Court services; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
