Location: Calusa Elementary School, 7520 Orchid Lake Road, New Port Richey, FL 34653
Grade Level: Primary (Kindergarten - grade 3)
Intermediate (grade 4-5)
Pay $160 per day
JOB SUMMARY
Professional Guest Teachers (Professional Substitutes) are substitute positions supplementing teachers who are on long-term leave. The duration of assignments may range from 30 days up to a full school year.
Responsible for developing, planning, organizing, and implementing an instructional program for students through curriculum, lesson plans, and educational programs in the absence of the students’ full-time teacher.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two years' experience in a classroom environment and/or working with children
