Your Passion:

This position is responsible for the actual physical cleaning of the church building. The Custodian learns a variety of cleaning tasks that include but are not limited to mopping and cleaning tile floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting, wiping walls and fixtures, sanitizing toilets and sinks, cleaning glass and mirror surfaces, and emptying and disposing trash. This person is flexible to work with a variety of individuals as a team that works together to complete diverse tasks that are associated with the Facilities department.

- Participates in all tasks related to cleaning the buildings including restrooms, floors, glass, removing waste, stocking paper and soap products, and similar activities
- Utilizes various tools, equipment, and chemicals in order to complete the work
- Receives work assignments from the Custodial Supervisor or Custodial Lead; carries out assigned task(s) and reports back to their Overseer for the next assignment
- Assists with service and care of equipment used in the cleaning of the buildings; helps to assure that the used items are cleaned and properly stored after each use
- Some pest control duties
- May be required to send reports or information that needs to be communicated to another staff member or group of staff
- Helps to manage all existing custodial inventory

Work schedule:
Staff culture is important to what we do. To love like family, we require all staff to attend all staff meetings, department meetings and serve with a willing heart especially at all major campus events.
Full Time (40 hours/week); however, incumbent may be required to work an evening or weekend day to help with a special event or project or in an emergency situation affecting the church facilities.
Salary : $15
