Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa is looking for a faithful and dedicated High School Girls’ Lead to help guide the next generation of believers. This role is not just about assisting in overseeing the ministry, but being deeply involved in the spiritual growth of the Ministry’s students.
Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa (CCCM) is a Jesus Formed Community on Mission. Community, Formation and Mission are the three main ways that we believe we are to live out our discipleship to Jesus. Through Gospel teaching, training, and resources, God’s people are enabled to take their discipleship into their own hands by living out the listening, serving and helping posture of Jesus in our church community. As the Girls Discipleship Lead, you be taking an active role in the Formation of the girls who are involves in the high school ministry spiritual growth
As the High School Girls’ Lead at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa, you would be responsible for providing leadership and care for high school students; to oversee and cultivate a Gospel-shaped community that is actively committed to the mission of Jesus of making followers of Jesus, teaching the way of Jesus, and practicing the love of Jesus in the world. The ideal candidate will be a minister of the Gospel in this position and will have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. Their relationship with Christ will be an example to those they come into contact with.
You would also be responsible for partnering with the HSM Pastor in casting and implementing vision and culture for High School Ministry (HSM). You will help carry out that vision with the HSM Pastor through facilitating Sunday and Wednesday gatherings, small groups for discipleship, planning and scheduling joy filled and fun activities throughout the year for connection with students, providing one on one connection, care, and discipleship to students.

- Understand that it is a privilege to serve the Lord in vocational ministry and that those who serve God on staff at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa are expected to embrace a high biblical, Christ-like standard of conduct and lifestyle, both public and personal
- Be an example to those who you come in contact and serve with by exuding the love of Christ
- To engage and connect with the students during the weekly gatherings
- To be a model of what being a disciple of Jesus means, and to help the students in their discipleship with Jesus
- Helping with the discipling of HSM volunteers
- Reaching out to schools in our local community, and coming alongside them for encouragement, resourcing, or specific outreach needs
This Position Requires:
- Evidence of God’s calling and gifting for this area of ministry
- To be able to lead in the way of Jesus, with love, patience, and commitment to the students
- The ability to connect and relate to the students
- To be able to teach the scriptures, provide Biblical counsel and guidance, and provide correction and initiate restoration when necessary
- To be able to engage with non-Christian youth with the Gospel
- A high level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Adobe Creative Suite, and Social Media
