Calvary Chapel Open Door is seeking a dedicated Youth Ministry Teacher who loves the Lord Jesus Christ and has a passion for guiding middle and high school students in their spiritual growth. This role involves teaching biblical truths, mentoring youth, fostering fellowship, and collaborating with ministry volunteers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging, Christ-centered lessons tailored to middle and high school students.
- Lead small group discussions and activities to encourage spiritual growth.
Requirements:
- Passionate relationship with Jesus Christ and commitment to teaching His Word.
- Experience in youth ministry or related teaching/mentorship roles.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable transportation to Anaheim, CA.
- Availability on Sunday mornings (10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) and for additional preparation or events during the week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of the Bible and ability to teach its principles in a relatable way.
- Experience planning and leading youth events or mission projects.
- Background in education or counseling is a plus.
