General Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative woman with strong leadership, organizational, and

interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate for this role will be prayerful, faithful, and committed to

serving women while upholding the core values of Sheologie.

This role is responsible for managing budgets, facilitating networking opportunities, overseeing

office operations, and providing information on ministry events. Additionally, this role will support

the Sheologie Director in ensuring the accuracy and execution of all Sheologie Ministries, Bible

Studies, and Special Events.

Researching and identifying trends in keynote speakers, musicians, and cultural movements will be

essential to enhancing Sheologie’s programming. This role will collaborate closely with Lenya

Heitzig and the Sheologie Director to develop and execute creative, engaging events that inspire

and grow the ministry.

Above all, this position requires a dedicated team player committed to advancing the kingdom

through excellence in every aspect.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Perform general receptionist duties, including managing office operations, maintaining

supplies, answering phone calls to provide accurate information on Bible Studies and

Special Events, staying informed about all ministry details, updating calendars, and

handling inquiries.

  • Prepare meeting spaces by setting up rooms and arranging table settings for meetings.
  • Organize and execute all Bible Studies and Special Events, including talent booking and

coordination with contractors, the steering committee, support staff, and the servant

leadership team.

  • Ensure clear communication with other departments and Sheologie’s servant leadership

teams to maintain seamless operations.

  • Oversee and manage the Ministry Platform for Bible Studies and Special Events.
  • Entering all relevant details into eSPACE, including support instructions for teams such as

Creative, Production, and Janitorial.

  • Retrieve and distribute Sheologie mail to the appropriate staff members.
  • Coordinate and facilitate meetings for events as requested by Sheologie Event

Coordinators.

  • Process and reconcile all requisitions, purchase orders, and church credit card reports,

ensuring receipts are accurately organized.

  • Plan and lead leadership meetings and training sessions as requested by Sheologie Event

Coordinators.

  • Recruit, engage, and develop the volunteer team by actively connecting with women during

Bible Studies, Weekend Kiosks, and Special Events.

  • Manage ministry budgets, eSPACE reservations, website updates, and design requests.
  • Oversee communication and workflow through Microsoft Teams and Planning Center.
  • Represent Sheologie at meetings in place of the Sheologie Director when necessary.
  • Track event registrations, ticket sales, and other key metrics to assess success and identify

areas for improvement.

  • Develop data-driven analytics for annual planning and ministry forecasting.
  • Coordinate with vendors for offsite events and work with other church ministries on joint

events and promotional efforts.

  • Shop for supplies needed for the office, Bible Studies, and Special Events.
  • Run errands as needed to support Sheologie’s meetings and events.

Skills & Knowledge

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational abilities.
  • Sound decision-making skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Proficient in budgeting and reconciliation reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint,

Outlook, and Teams.

  • Effective time management; self-starter with proven ability to multitask and manage

multiple projects.

  • Skilled in networking and building professional relationships.
  • Collaborative team player.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain a calm sense of urgency in fast-paced environments
