What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School Teacher position at Calvary Lutheran Church and School?
Calvary Lutheran School seeks an Extended Care Director for the K-8 elementary school. Duties include:
- Must be over 18
- Scheduling and supervising staffing for after-school extended care.
- Provides guidance and instructions for staff
- Planning engaging activities for students.
- Collaborates with the kitchen manager to provide daily snack supplies and communicates supply needs to the school office.
- Managing the schedule and program supplies.
- Collaborating with school staff.
- Make sure each child has been picked up by a known authorized adult and is signed out on the computer.
- Must have 1 year of teaching experience (k-8 or high school) OR are currently enrolled in college.
After-school extended care is from 3:30-6:00 Monday-Friday during the school year. Extended care is also offered on early dismissal school days and days school is not in session (excluding weekends and holidays). This is a great opportunity for anyone that loves children!

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 20 per week
