Junior High Support Staff

Contracted by: Support Staff are not contracted employees. Approximately 28 hours per week. Responsible to: Principal, Superintendent Hours: 7:30am-1:15pm Monday-Friday Supervises: JH Students JOB DESCRIPTION - Essential Functions The Support Staff shall: Each staff member is assigned a schedule with the following duties: Set up/take down cones. Traffic control before and after school. Moderate to medium lifting and bending/cones, full trash bags, full backpacks, putting up/taking down tables, large brooms, pails of water, boxes, etc. Monitor campus, blacktop, field and restrooms between and during breaks/lunches. Monitor games/balls on blacktop during breaks and lunches. Clean up after every break and lunch, cleaning tables, sweeping and taking the trash to green bin. Clean up and inspect all restrooms every hour. Clean up around campus and in classrooms as needed (includes vomit). Check and lock all classrooms before leaving for the day. Must be able to be out in the elements, cold, rain, and heat since the majority of the Support Staff job is outside.
