- Fix mechanical issues within the physical buildings
- Conduct campus cleanup on the interior and exterior of physical buildings

Position Title: Temporary Facilities Technician
FLSA: Full-Time Non-Exempt (40 hours per week)
Department: Facilities
Reports To: Facilities Director
Salary: $15 per hour
Position Summary:
The Temporary Facilities Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks. These tasks include but are not limited to plumbing, irrigation, HVAC scheduling, etc. In addition, performs general cleaning and other duties as assigned. Must be able to understand technology and software connected with facilities systems.
Essential Job Functions:
- Providing support for setting up, breaking down, and cleanup of facilities for events, activities and weekly church services as needed.
- Collaborating with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities that may impact daily operations
- Performing preventative maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshooting issues, and completing repairs efficiently
- Conducting routine inspections to identify potential problems and addressing them proactively
- Addressing and repairing any mechanical issues promptly within the physical buildings
- Assisting and executing facility improvement projects
- Daily cleaning and removal of garbage as necessary based on routine assignment from the Facilities Manager
- Assist the Facilities Manager with leading projects and volunteer crews
- Be comfortable using multiple technologies to make processes more manageable and more efficient
- Ability to work efficiently and promptly with a standard of quality mindset and a sense of urgency in completing tasks when needed
- Overtime may be required as needed
EDUCATION: High School Diploma
EXPERIENCE: Facilities maintenance experience preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS

- Knowledge in handyman, maintenance, and cleaning

- Required to team lift and move up to 100 pounds
