Calvary Weekday School is located in downtown Frederick. Our school has half –day preschool programs for ages three and four and kindergarten. We hold an Early Childhood Accreditation from MSDE and are a Maryland Excels Level 5 school. We are looking to hire staff who believe in meeting the cognitive, social, and emotional needs of all students and who work collaboratively with the staff, families, and students who attend our school. Our goal is for children to have fun while learning in a creative, nurturing, and safe environment. We help children to develop a strong self-esteem and social competency by problem solving and resolving conflicts in a respectful, positive way.
All our teachers and assistants:
- Hold degrees and have experience in early childhood education
- Participate in on-going professional development training
- Are CPR & First Aid certified
- Complete background checks & fingerprinting
- Complete all required documentation and trainings from the Office of Child Care, Calvary Weekday School & MSDE
- Degrees in Early Childhood Education are preferred. Applicants may be required to take additional coursework if requirements are not met.
