Job Summary:

· The Nurse Manager, under the leadership of the Behavioral Health Director, is responsible for overseeing, supervising, and evaluating care delivery within their assigned practice setting in line with the organization's goals. Maintains 24/7 accountability, ensuring seamless operations and safe patient care. The Nurse Manager serves as a leader, consultant, facilitator, change agent, mentor and coach. They exemplify and embody the CalvertHealth Medical Center mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with CalvertHealth Medical Center policies and procedures.

Education:

· Position requires bachelor’s degree or relevant years of experience

Registration/Certification/Licensure:
-
Registered Nurse Certification; State Licensure

Achieve professional certification within 12 months of eligibility

Experience:
-
3 years of progressive leadership experience required
-
5 years of relevant clinical experience
-

Other Requirements:

Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.

Demonstrates a high level of clinical competence.

Effective interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication.
