Position Summary
The Global Assistant Merchandiser at Calvin Klein supports the brand's global merchandising strategy across various channels. This role involves executing merchandising plans, overseeing product lifecycle management, conducting market research, and collaborating with design, supply chain, raw materials, marketing, and sales teams. The Assistant Merchandiser will be the true foundation of the team, responsible for information accuracy and timeliness as it relates to seasonal assortments and day-to-day deliverables. The Assistant Merchandiser will work hand in hand with the Merchandiser to help lead cross-functional teams throughout the product development calendar to deliver a product offering that is on brand, on time, and meets or achieves margin targets.

Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities Of The Job
- Product Lifecycle Management: Assist in managing the product lifecycle from concept to market launch, ensuring a cohesive and compelling product assortment.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and consumer preferences.
- Collaboration: Work closely with design, supply chain, raw materials, marketing, and sales teams to ensure product offerings meet market demands and brand standards.
- Data Management: Manage and maintain data in the Centric PLM system to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information. Maintain all seasonal reports/records (line matrix, change log, sku plans, hindsights).
- SMS/Proto Delivery and Tracking: Support the delivery, organization and tracking of SMS and proto samples to ensure timely and accurate product development.
- Team Support: Contribute to a culture of innovation and excellence by supporting and collaborating with the merchandising team.
- Communication: Clear, concise communication skills when downloading various cross functional partners on anything assortment related (updates, drops, adds, pivots in strategy, etc.)
Experience: 0-2 years of Global Merchandising experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or equivalent
