POSITION TITLE: Supply Planner, Accessories & Apparel

POSITION REPORTS TO: Sr Manager, Supply Planning

LOCATION: Calvin Klein Office NY, NY (hybrid position)

Position Summary

As the Supply Planner you will be accountable for building a rough-cut capacity plan that meets demand requirements, adheres to vendor sourcing strategy, and incorporates PVH strategic initiatives. Your primary role is to translate forecasts into a long-term supply plan, manage related planning systems (JDA Enterprise Supply Planning) for your portion of the business, and understand supplier constraints and capabilities. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to build an agile capacity plan, measure accuracy, and drive continuous improvement through the entire planning process. Through these actions, you will contribute to senior leadership by recommending the most appropriate levers in supply chain planning to best meet key objectives and strategic goals.

Forecasting

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB

  • Translate midterm to long-term PVH Buy Plan into a high-level rough cut capacity plan for supplier and hub collaboration.
  • Analyze rolling demand, project production capacity and raw material forecast with suppliers.
  • Build and share weekly/monthly/seasonal reporting that speaks to overall trend and provides insight to business at varying levels.
  • Manage RM flow with suppliers to maximize opportunities while minimizing liabilities.
  • Provide context for demand changes, the variations in product and volume that create potential risk/reward scenarios for business.
  • Work with corresponding demand and fulfillment planners on identifying supply scenarios to gain alignment and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Understand vendor allocation of demand to supplier and identify areas of opportunity to drive more effective allocation strategy.
  • Build relationships with key internal (fulfillment, sourcing, business teams) stakeholders through formalized collaboration and partnership.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Create effective analysis on RM and garment capacity projected vs actual.
  • Provide analysis to support and help drive monthly business reviews highlighting where supply is constrained and scenarios and recommendations on how to address.
  • Measure and report on KPI metrics and benchmarks relating to supply planning and the supply chain overall such as forecast accuracy, lead times, on-time delivery, and impact on capacity planning assumptions.
  • Perform routine maintenance of master data with that ensures data integrity.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting in an effective and timely manner.
  • Understand effective ways of collecting data to build archives to perform variance reporting at various levels.

Process Lead

  • Effectively manage the relationship with all regional operations, planning and demand teams to ensure alignment and accuracy of information.
  • Own area of responsibility, escalating and reviewing all opportunities/challenges with supervisor.
  • Leverage existing systems and databases to generate data and KPIs.
  • Document processes and information flows involved in reporting activities.
  • Collaborate with Sourcing, RM, Operational Excellence and Strategy teams.
  • Work cross functionally gaining expertise in supply planning.
  • Support supply planning best practices and support continuous improvement in the supply planning and collaboration processes.
  • Assist in building SOPs that focus on continuous process improvement with internal and external partners.

  • Prioritize deadlines
  • Draw conclusions from various forms of data, use scenario planning to determine the best possible course of action.
  • This position is involved in making decisions regarding the planning of data, reporting, and general planning of the business.
  • This role will be involved in making critical decisions with regards to forecast, capacity and level raw materials planning.
  • Many decisions will be made on a day-to-day basis; major decisions are reviewed and collaborated on a team basis.

  • Must come up with creative ways to handle and process new sets of data from sales and demand planning.
  • Ability to influence others.
  • Must be able to analyze data, determine best course of action to optimize data usage.
  • Ability to create new ways to analyze and interpret data/information.

Environment

  • Supply Chain Planner must thrive in a fast paced environment where priorities may often change
  • Ability to work with multiple cross functional teams and regional hubs.
  • Office based, hybrid position; 5% travel anticipated.

Internal: Regional Retail & Wholesale Planning Teams, Sales, GSC Sourcing Team, PVH Hub Offices, Finance, Operations, Regional teams

External: Suppliers, Mills/Factories

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES: May/will provide analyses for forecasts/estimates used by Finance/Account executives. Plan to maintain cost improvements.

Experience

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • 2-4 years’ experience in one of the following: investment banking, financial planning, inventory planning, buying/procurement, supply chain, and/or logistics/distribution planning, with strong financial acumen and analytical skillset
  • 1-2 years’ experience working with a forecasting/inventory management/master planning (production) solution such as Blue Yonder, JDA Fulfill, JDA MP, JDA ESP, i2 Prod Plan, SAP Master Planner, Manugistics, or Logility Oracle
  • Advanced Excel skills is required. *An Excel test will be administered in the interview process.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree required

  • Strong working knowledge of MRP and ERP systems and their implementation.

Pay Range:$80,150 - $90,000

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
