We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Content Specialist to help Calyan shine through compelling, visually appealing, and engaging content. The ideal candidate has a background in marketing and content creation, with a strong blend of creativity and organizational skills. This role requires a clear and effective written and verbal communicator who pays close attention to detail, enjoys collaboration, and embraces opportunities for growth and learning. Duties:
Email and SMS Marketing Management
- Plan, create, and design visually compelling email campaigns and SMS campaigns using Canva and Klaviyo.
- Responding to SMS messages
- Collaborating with Director on creative ways to grow email lists.
- Creating, editing, and managing all automated email workflows.
Social Media Management
- Managing social post calendar.
- Creating engaging content for social media and making daily/weekly social channel posts.
- Develop engaging and on-brand social media content (static posts, reels, stories, etc.) for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and TikTok.
- Schedule and publish social media posts using Later.
- Collaborate with the sales/marketing team to align content with promotional campaigns, product launches, and company goals.
- Stay up to date with trends in digital marketing, social media, and content creation to keep our brand fresh and relevant.
- Responding to comments and messages on social media.
Retail Customer Service
- Monitoring retail customer service tickets.
- Monitoring all opens sales orders.
- Collaboration with Fulfillment to ensure all orders are dispatched on time.
- Processing retail returns and replacements.
- Monitoring retail customer service phone line.
- Monitoring messages received via Calyan website.
Marketing Support
- Assist Director on influencer management, event planning, tradeshow planning, photoshoots, and other misc. marketing efforts.
- Coordinating with the fulfillment team on influencer and special partner sample shipments.
- Maintaining digital assets including lifestyle/online photography, logos, info cards, etc.
- Ensuring clean organization of assets in file storing software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications or other related field (or equivalent work experience in related field).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently.
- Preferred experience using any of the following platforms: Canva, Shopify, Klayvio, Adobe Photoshop, Later, ZenDesk.
Hours:
- 40 hours/week
- Position will begin on site at our Arlington, TX facility and will have potential for some hybrid work once established
Starting Salary:
- $50,000 – 65,000
- Compensation will be based on experience level
