Calyx Living is actively seeking energetic 2nd/3rd Shift Medication Technicians (Med Techs) for our assisted living community! We are located in beautiful Fuquay-Varina, one of the fastest growing towns in North Carolina, and minutes from its two vibrant and historic downtown districts!
Calyx is looking to hire 2nd/3rd Shift Medication Technicians (Med Techs) who will be responsible for the administration of medications and also be responsible for supporting the Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) by providing personal care services to our seniors. Additional responsibilities may include but aren't limited to: Keeping records updated on medication administrative files, regular communication with pharmacy, families, residents and supervisors, charting, verbal encouragement to support residents, and order/receive medication.
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina MedTech Certification required
- Assisted Living / Skilled Nursing experience a must
- Excellent communication with residents and families
- Compassion, patience and understanding for residents
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail
- Supervisory background preferred
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays
