Calyx Living is actively seeking an energetic, experienced Resident Care Coordinator with great organizational skills for our sparkling assisted living community located in North Durham off the Eno River and just minutes from Duke University, the Durham Bulls Athletic Park and the American Tobacco Campus in downtown Durham's vibrant entertainment district.
The Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for coordinating resident care needs and staffing, including maintaining the schedule, updating coordination tools like the physician appointment and pharmacy logs, filing and organization of the clinical records, etc. The Resident Care Coordinator assists the Resident Care Director in the training of new care staff. When the Resident Care Director is absent, the Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for the supervision and delivery of resident care services in compliance with Calyx's policies and state regulations.
Resident Care Coordinator Qualifications:
- Demonstrates a passion to work with the senior population
- Meet minimum criteria to perform as a Supervisor in Charge in the State of North Carolina
- Must be a licensed Medication Technician
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have experience scheduling staff and coordinating resident care communication.
- Comfortable with using scheduling applications on the computer and mobile devices
