Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any deviations from normal
- Assist with patient assessments and care planning
- Perform various nursing procedures including venipuncture and catheter care
- Provide education to patients and families on disease prevention and treatment plans
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Skills
- Proficiency in ICD-9 coding systems
- Experience in outpatient, ER, dialysis, and hospice care settings
- Ability to perform venipuncture and catheter care
- Knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) usage
- Competency in infant care for pediatric patients
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $24.31 - $26.57 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
