Position Overview:
We are seeking an accomplished Operations Manager with robust supervisory skills and expertise in janitorial services, personnel management, estimating, and job costing. The ideal candidate will oversee our service lines' operations to support our corporate office Torrance for the (Downtown Los Angeles) territory, ensuring efficient scheduling, resource allocation, and superior service delivery.
The Operations Manager - Janitorial Division is assigned a portfolio and responsible for client retention, job budgets, and ensuring resources (tools, supplies and equipment) are efficiently and effectively deployed.
Key Responsibilities:
· Lead and supervise daily operations of multiple service lines, managing scheduling, resource allocation, and service delivery to meet client expectations.
· Develop and empower a team of frontline staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
· Maintain high standards of service quality across all operational areas, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and company policies.
· Utilize strong estimating and job costing skills to develop accurate project budgets and cost-effective service solutions.
· Collaborate with other departments such as HR and Sales to optimize operational processes and achieve business objectives.
· Cultivate strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
· Develop and implement training programs to enhance team capabilities and support professional growth opportunities for employees.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
· The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in operations management, preferably in the facility services industry, with strong supervisory and personnel management skills.
· Prefer at least a minimum of 3 years' experience in managing facility services at a high-end luxury Multifamily Apartment Community.
· At least 3-5 years of progressive janitorial services management and leadership experience.
· Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing teams.
· Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience with operational management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
· Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
