Camacho Demolition is looking for a Project Manager/Estimator to join our team!!
We’re looking for a reliable Project Manager to plan projects and oversee their progress in an effective manner to meet deadlines and stay within the budget. Someone who will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the company's culture. Will also need to develop efficient strategies and tactics. Our goal is to ensure that all programs deliver the desirable outcome to our organization.
*Duties*
- Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment and hauling
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate project bids
- Utilize construction estimating software to create detailed project proposals
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for estimates
- Assist in the coordination of project schedules and timelines
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Manage project documentation including contracts and change orders
· Proven ability to read and understand drawings and specifications
· Ability to prepare cost estimates, budgets and work timetables/schedules
· Manage project staff, subcontractors and operations to meet budget and profit goals
· Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to other professionals
· Report work progress and budget matters to clients and management
· Collaborate with architects, engineers and other construction specialists
· Select subcontractors and schedule/coordinate their activities
· Respond to work delays, emergencies and other problems
· Comply with legal requirements, building and safety codes and other regulations
· Strong computer skills and knowledge of/fluent in Microsoft Office products
· Must be willing to visit Project Sites as required.
· Must be very organized, Project Manager must be able to multitask and manage multiple projects at one time.
· Must be willing to travel (conduct site visit with client, kickoff meetings for projects, etc.).

- Proven experience in construction estimating and project coordination
- Strong understanding of construction processes and materials
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints
- Knowledge of contract management processes
