Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable EVS Janitorial Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for scheduling work for their teams, inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards have been met, directing and monitoring work performance throughout the shift, and maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in a healthcare setting facility to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote a clean environment.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests from staff or management to address urgent needs.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain schedules and ensure all areas are serviced efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a janitorial supervisor role is required.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills related to custodial duties.
The start work date is March 10, 2025.
