Camacho Garage, a high-volume Mexican restaurant, is seeking friendly and motivated Hosts to join our team. We’re looking for hardworking professionals with a passion for hospitality and Mexican cuisine.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Host in a high-volume restaurant is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with OpenTable for managing reservations
• Proficiency with Toast POS for handling guest interactions is a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in a busy, fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to assist other staff as needed

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using OpenTable
• Seat guests promptly and in a way that maximizes table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction
• Communicate effectively with the front-of-house and back-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and assist with inquiries about the menu and restaurant policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance areas
• Support the team during catering and banquet events when needed

Pay: From $15.69 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
