Position: Employee Relation Specialist/ Human Resource
Unit: HR Admin
Location: Aurora, CO
Shift: 8H Day08:00 AM - 05:00 PM
Duration: 12 Months
PAY: $30- $33/Hour on W2
NOTE: ON-SITE Position (Must be able to commute)
Job Summary:
The Employee Relations Specialist plays a key role in addressing leader and employee concerns, fostering effective communication between management and staff, and ensuring workplace issues are handled promptly and fairly. This role requires expertise in conflict resolution, employee engagement strategies, and labor law compliance to support organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Address and resolve complex employee relations issues, maintaining a respectful and productive work environment. Conduct comprehensive investigations into employee grievances and provide recommendations for resolution. Collaborate with HR and leadership teams to proactively identify and mitigate potential employee relations concerns. Provide guidance on policy interpretation, discipline, performance management, and involuntary terminations. Analyze trends from employee feedback (e.g., surveys, exit interviews) and recommend improvements. Maintain accurate documentation of all employee relations cases and report on key trends. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to minimize organizational risk. Partner with HR Client Services, HR Business Partners, Compliance, Legal, and other stakeholders as needed. No RTO approved within the first two weeks of assignment Medical and religious exemption requests from the seasonal influenza vaccination are allowed. The completed exemption request form must be included in the submission package.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a relate
d field.Equivalent experience may substitute for education on a one-year-for-one-year basis.
Experience:
Required Experience:
Minimum of 3 years in employee relations.
Hospital And Healthcare experience required
Certifications (Preferred): SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). SHRM Workplace Investigation Specialty Credential. Licensure: None. New Travelers Considered:
