Endoscopy Technician
Location: Boston, MA
Schedule: 13 Weeks | 40 Hours/Week | 8H Day Shift (07:30 AM – 04:00 PM)
Pay Rate: Weekly $2000- $2300
Key Requirements:
High School diploma or GED required
Minimum 3 years of Endoscopy Tech experience required
COVID-19 Booster & Flu Vaccine required (Medical exemptions accepted)
Basic computer navigation skills
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical setting
Program from SGNA or Olympus - Basic familiarity with computers.
Preferred Qualifications:
CRCST/CER certification from HSPA or CBSPD, or a program from SGNA or Olympus
Knowledge of hospital operations, infection control, and medical terminology
Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up endoscopic equipment for procedures
- Assist medical staff during endoscopic procedures
- Ensure aseptic technique is maintained throughout procedures
- Clean and sterilize endoscopic equipment after each use
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently
Skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Knowledge of aseptic technique in a medical setting
- Familiarity with medical imaging technology related to endoscopy
- Understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical environment
