• Operating Rooms (OR): 12 OR’s
• Pre-Op Bays: 20
• PACU Bays: 14
• Required Experience: 2 years of OR – Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
• First-time Travelers: Accepted
• Travelers: Must live >100 miles away from the facility
• Patient Types: Surgical (Urology, Neuro, Ortho, Robotic, General, Podiatry, ENT)
• Patient Ratios:
• OR: 1:1
• Pre-Op: 1:2
• PACU Phase I: 1:1 or 1:2 (based on acuity)
• PACU Phase II: 1:2-3

Required Certifications:

• CST: BLS, CST-NBSTSA (Preferred)

Education Required:

• CST: Associate degree in a healthcare-related field or graduate from accredited surgical tech program (Not required if nationally certified)

Skills Required:

• CST: 2 years of experience with the specified case types (Davinci XI and Craniotomy experience is required for Trauma.

Charting System/Equipment:

• EPIC

Floating:

• CST/FA: Could float to Central Sterile Processing as needed

Orientation:

• 1 week

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation (if position is posted as weekend only and on-call, every 3rd weekend)
• Call needs subject to change as per departmental needs

Call Details:

• CVOR: One overnight per week (7p-7a) and every 3rd weekend (Fri 1500 – Mon 0700)
• Main OR: Discussed during interview
• Sleep room available in Pre-Op/PACU area (when closed)
• Couches in break room
• 15 min response time
• Holiday Expectations: 2/4 major holidays
